1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when creating or maintaining an account, including your name, email address, verification details, and support messages.

When you use the service, we process wallet balances, top-ups, fare adjustments, ride scans, trip history, route selections, and related transaction references. Payment card details may be collected directly by our payment provider; Fluxx Connect receives transaction status and limited payment metadata rather than full card credentials.

For security and offline ride passes, we process device information such as an app installation identifier, device name when available, operating system and version, app version, public cryptographic keys, credential validity dates, login activity, and device revocation status.

We also process technical information such as IP address, request timestamps, error logs, and security events. Bus location information describes service vehicles and is not intended to track passenger location.

2. How we use information

• Provide accounts, wallet services, route information, live bus positions, QR boarding, trip history, and customer support.
• Authenticate registered devices, issue and rotate short-lived credentials, prevent replay or misuse of ride passes, and investigate fraud or security incidents.
• Process top-ups, apply route fares, reconcile transactions, and maintain service records.
• Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, improve routes and product features, and comply with lawful obligations.

3. When information is shared

We may share the minimum necessary information with payment processors, hosting and infrastructure providers, customer-support services, and professional advisers who help operate Fluxx Connect. These providers may only use the information to deliver contracted services and protect the platform.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to a valid legal process, to protect passengers or the public, or during a corporate transaction where appropriate safeguards apply. We do not sell passenger personal information.

4. Retention and account deletion

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described here. Active account, device, wallet, and trip records are retained while you use the service. Security logs and transaction records may be retained longer where needed for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, or legal obligations.

When you request account deletion, access is disabled and the request is scheduled for completion within seven days. We delete or anonymize personal information unless a record must be retained by law or for a legitimate unresolved issue. See the account deletion page for instructions.

5. Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections, limited-duration credentials, device-bound public-key signatures, and token revocation to protect accounts and ride passes. No system is completely secure, so protect your device and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

6. Your choices and rights

You can review or update account details in the app, revoke registered devices, request account deletion, and contact us to ask about access, correction, restriction, or objection rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

7. Children

Fluxx Connect is not directed to children who cannot independently consent to data processing under applicable law. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child provided personal information without appropriate permission.

8. Changes and contact
